Worked for a wide range of companies, including Jones Lang LaSalle, Minnesota Public Radio, WCCO-TV, American Academy of Neurology, RSP Architects, and Memorial Blood Center.
Adecco (2015 – 2016)— Administrative office professional, working a 1-year position as an administrative assistant at Ecolab.
Self-Employed (1991- present)— Freelance writer (see Professional Experience).
The People’s Gallery (2013 – 2015)— Co-manager of art gallery. Event planning, and hosting openings and receptions; print, online, and social media marketing; planning and managing art exhibits, calls for art, and jurying; communications with artists and the local art community; customer service; treasurer.
National Novel Writing Month (2005 – 2010)— Municipal Liaison of the Twin Cities Region. Planning and hosting events each year for up to 80 people. Managing correspondence, promotions, informational instructions, and answering questions for 9,000 users. Executed a book drive that collected 3,000 books for charity. Managed online calendar of events for region.
